HeKz terug in Parkvilla

De Engelse progressieve metal band HeKz komt terug naar Parkvilla voor een eenmalig concert in het kader van hun nieuwe, hoog gewaardeerde (*) album ‘Terra Nova’ (2023).

HekZ heeft ten opzichte van het vorige concert in Alphen aan den Rijn (2020) een gedaantewisseling ondergaan. Uiteraard is frontman Matt Young (zang/bas) nog steeds van de partij, maar met Mirko Fadda (gitaar), Lucia La Rezza (viool) en Jerry Sadowski (drums) is er feitelijk een nieuwe band. Gebleven is de krachtige sound, de unieke vocalen én dynamische live-performance, maar de nieuwe samenstelling geeft volop ruimte voor nieuwe, verrassende muzikale ontwikkelingen, die liefhebbers van theatrale/symfonische rock zeker zal aanspreken.

Het concert zal uiteraard veel nummers van het nieuwe album ‘Terra Nova’ bevatten, maar ook ‘klassiekers’ komen aan bod. Daarmee is dit concert zowel voor de trouwe fans van de band als voor nieuwsgierige prog-liefhebbers zeer interessant.

Matt Young kijkt al uit naar het optreden in Parkvilla: "This will be our second time playing at this legendary venue, and the show promises to be a celebration of 'Terra Nova' and the power and persistence of the rock scene in our beloved Netherlands”. Alle reden dus om vrijdag 12 april richting Parkvilla te komen voor een bijzondere avond progressieve rock van hoog niveau!
